Reunion Cancelled

The Cogswell Family Association Reunion for 2009 has apparently been cancelled due to lack of interest.  This is unfortunate as we really needed to have a meeting of the executive.  We need to replace our legal counsel, (the past one died) and appoint a vice-president.  We have word that both our secretary and treasurer are resigning, and our historian wants to be replaced as well.  The secretary must be a resident of Massachusetts.  IF ANYONE IS WILLING TO FILL ANY OF THESE POSITIONS, PLEASE CONTACT A MEMBER OF THE PRESENT EXECUTIVE, BY GOINT TO AND SENDING AN E-MAIL.
Meanwhile, watch for in formation about our 2010 reunion, which is planned for Nova Scotia.  The exact dates and location have not yet been set, but the reunion will mark the 250th anniversary of Hezekiah Cogswell’s arrival in Nova Scotia.
Also tentatively in planning is a 2013 reunion in Quebec, near the battle of Chateauguay site where a Cogswell was killed in the war of 1812 (the battle was 1813.)
