Easter 2010

Cogswells haven’t done much newsworthy for a couple of weeks.

Today is Easter Sunday.  My wife and I got up for an Easter Sunrise Service at 6:15 a.m. and saw the sun rise from a friend’s veranda (where the service was held.)  I then conducted Easter services in the Dunham and Sutton United Churches.  It was a little hard on my wife.  She had an argument with a car in Montreal ten days ago – the car nudged her enough to make her fall.  She didn’t think she was hurt, but about a quarter hour later, her arm started to hurt.  I took her to emergency the next morning, where after eleven hours she discovered she has a broken elbow – the right one – lucky she’s left handed.  She is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, April 6th.
