Cogswells in Sports

Only sports reports named Cogswells over the past weekend. Shenendehowa’s Brandon Cogswell homered, singled twice, scored three times and drove in three runs to help the Plainsmen win their second straight game April 15. Cogswell nailed a three-run homer in the first inning to help set the tone in a 7-3 baseball victory over Burnt Hills April 18. Cogswell also hit a triple. In Massachusetts doubles tennis Rachel Cogswell/Madison Wright defeated Micaela Goodrich/Krista Lohr, 7-5, 6-0. Tyler Cogswell (2013), of American Heritage-Plantation, quarterback, competed at Mastrole Passing Academy camp at the Lauderhill Sports Complex. Jason Cogswell (Byron Center, Mich.) had NAIA qualifying marks in the hammer throw. He also improved his mark in the weight throw to an NAIA “A” Standard.
